guess what guys?I got dem! a nice 64 pack of Prismacolored pencils.
so I cracked down and got another art trade peace done.
so did a cool picture of Mary for me.

all she wanted was a simple picture of a Mew.
but you know I never take it simple.
so I made a new character named after her, Penny.
so I did this, with a short story. pay attention!
...
after a few days sense Jason went missing in action. Gladus was hurt and wanted to be alone.
she stayed in the solitary Gardens and lamented.
then one night, she had a small visitor.
Gladus looked up to see a small twinkling pokemon.
a Mew none the less.
the Mew laughed
"hai, my names Penny! whats yours?" Penny asked
Gladus didn't speak.
Penny cocked her head to one side.
"why are you so sad?" Penny asked
"I lost a dear loved one..." Gladus said
Penny got a sad look on her face.
"oh... I am sorry... well if it makes you feel any better, this may not be the last time you see him!" she said
she floated over cutely and gave Gladus a hug.
"well... see ya!" Penny said
she took of into the night.

For the the characters of yours that hold the pain from the loss of someone that held their heart with someone else...here is a message that seems to match this quite well.
It's a matter of time that it will take for a love such as this to be bonded together. When one cannot be there to share their feelings and emotions with someone they truly care about, it is not a sense of sadness nor hate that you shall overcome in the time to pass. As we, as being in time and history, look for what we feel will make us happy and find it, our hearts will plant its roots on the ground and have us take a stand to never leave that one we seek out. If that emotion is strong, it hold back on to where it once planted itself down and no matter who or what gets in its way, you as the person with that heart and that emotion will never break free from the promise that you made times ago. No matter what happens, you will hang on. Thus...once the one you care so much about, will be set free from their confinement and join you for eternal happiness and love.
Technically, I quoted this from a previous comment to someone's journal. But the reason holds the same purpose. Within the passion of any relationship that is lost from any disaster that takes that person away, there is always the one thing that they all can know. That is...no matter what happens, as long as you keep them in your heart, they will always be there for you.
Pointing to the artwork...You are doing a great job when it comes to the use of colored pencils. The shading and details of some parts have a realistic look to them, which is pretty cool. Reading the short-short story to this, it is a sad thing to hear from a person or character. But it is something that can't hold a person back from going on to a brighter future.

Yeah. Well, there is always someone out there that can match anyone determined and that is true about other worlds.
Yeah...like trying to flirt with someone when you and that person don't realize it.

I believe he know about it, but the sadness of the event has scarred his trust and emotion to let go of a hard incident and true love. Although many people and companions think that he may not love anyone else, they are wrong. They may not see it from the outside, but from the inside, Simon still has a heart that can reach out and love another person, but still hold on to the memory of the first person that treated him with the same strength of that emotion. It's going to take alot to get through that hard shell he has formed over himself. Deep down, there could be some hope still beating for another chance...but he's keeping his eyes open, carefully watching out for another person like that.
