A painting featuring a very old dragon character of mine named Crimson. Crimson is a famous solo violinist, and this image shows him performing a pre-show before his big concert later that evening.This is by far the most complex piece I've ever completed. I worked on it over the course of 4 days. I had a lot of fun designing the background characters (because some of them are hidden, here's the version without the subject. www.furaffinity.net/view/34679…). My main fursona Raven makes an appearance, as does some other characters from around the same time that I created Crimson. I even added a small caricature of one of my dogs. The auditorium was very complicated for me, as I don't like working in perspective. I think it turned out pretty good, though. The violin was also pretty difficult, especially the shape of the body of the instrument. In the end, I'm very proud of the work, but I think I'm going to take a break from giant pieces like this. XD
In a way, this is a redraw of this picture from 2016. Crimson was about 2 years old when I made it.
