i made fanart to cope with zelda u not coming fast enoughalso i have a theory this game is going to take place in the downfall timeline, mostly because of link's yaoi sideburns (literally every link in the downfall timeline has them. coincidence? i think not)

Why are the sideburns Yaoi?Β But yes, after all he has long hair as well. Only downfall timeline Links have long hair. But the shirt is windwaker style and the bow is steampunky, both things would point to the windwaker timeline since it has far more advanced technology than the downfall timeline.
I like how the background of this picture fades away. It looks wide, but at the same time quite imprisoning. Well done!Β

i like to call that timeline the long hair timeline... all links have sideburns but the ones in the downfall timeline have hair thats alot longer.

lmao yeah, the rest of the links have sideburns that reach to their jaws about but downfall timeline link's sideburns are like way longer than that. that and aonuma said they wanted to revisit past conventions, such as the overworld being open similarly to how it was in the original legend of zelda. that's what gives me the impression it might be in the downfall timeline.
but then again, we can't really know for sure until more info is released lol

i also just noticed how the links in the downfall timeline have the longest hair, and its the longest branch of the timeline.... probably just a coincidence though
