Pre-Season 1

Konstantin was born to Oliver Queen and an unknown Russian woman during Oliver’s playboy years. The woman would, unfortunately, die in childbirth and Konstantin was sent back to Russia to be with family. An accident would change Konstantin’s path and he would be found by Talia al Ghul floating on a piece of driftwood. The boy was injured and there seemed to be no other survivors. Taking Konstantin to her father Ra’s he was raised as an al Ghul and trained to be an assassin. Ra’s had many tests for Konstantin and he passed each one. Eventually, Ra’s would summon Konstantin and give him his first real task. He was to go to Gotham City under a false identity and infiltrate the Court of Owls to destroy them from within.

Konstantin would spend months looking for information on the Court. Visiting various places and talking with people who often deterred him from his investigation. Finally, his search would bear fruit. He was recruited into Haley’s Circus as a knife thrower where the Court recruited its Talons. Dick Grayson was to become their Talon but after the death of his parents and his subsequent adoption by Bruce Wayne Konstantin was chosen to take Grayson’s place.

Konstantin would endure more training until it was time for him to become their Talon. He would undergo a process that would enhance his natural skills as well as allow him to heal. This process was done by killing him and injecting him with a compound called Electrum that brought him back to life thus being reborn as Talon. Proving himself to be a skilled assassin and fighter, he would go on to serve the Court for years, earning its members' trust and respect but was often reminded that he would be replaced if he ever failed them.

Season 1

Konstantin would attend Gotham Academy where he met Dick Grayson, Barbra Gordon, and Artemis Crock. Befriending them he would Dick would recognize him from their time in the circus. He would follow the activities of Batman and Robin closely. Monitoring them and reporting anything noteworthy to the Court though they had little interest in them and saw them as a distraction.

Season 2

Following the death of Jason Todd, Ra’s al Ghul ordered Konstantin to return to Infinity Island. Leaving would prove risky, but Konstantin was loyal to his adopted family more than the court and left Gotham a day later. Unable to find their Talon the Court searched and searched but found only an empty apartment. Seeing this as an act of betrayal the other talons were awoken and sent to find Konstantin. Upon returning to Gotham some weeks later Konstantin was attacked by Talons and brought before the Court. Deciding to retire him instead of kill him the court was going to place Konstantin in stasis. Konstantin disliked this and fought against the court escaping into the sewers. He would make his way to Bludhaven to find Nightwing and ask for shelter. Nightwing was initially skeptical until Konstantin revealed his identity and knowledge of Batman and Nightwing himself.

Grayson offered his friend shelter and an invitation to join his team. Konstantin told him he would need time to think about it and take care of a few things first. Knowing that his body would stop functioning without a supply of Electrum, Konstantin returned to Gotham to find more Electrum but was attacked. Out of options, he made his way to a Lazarus Pit and submerged himself in the waters of the pit with what little strength he had left. Exiting the pit, he was now free of the Court and returned to Bludhaven. Declining the invitation to the Team, he told Nightwing to ask if he ever needed his help. Konstantin was part of Aqualad’s crew while he was undercover. Now going by the code name Sova he would join the group to Mount Justice to capture Blue Beetle and at The Lights summit with The Reach but fled after Black Beetle stabbed Ra’s al Ghul.

Season 3

Konstantin was with Dick when he went to recruit others to help stop the meta-human trafficking in Markovia. Once the mission was over, he began a one-man war against the Court of Owls. Dick would ask for his help again this time in Star City alongside Will, Jim, and Roy. After helping Grayson Konstantin returned to work on taking down the Court of Owls. Learning the Court had expanded and begun operating internationally, Konstantin called in a few favors from old friends to go after the Court. He enlisted the help of Cheshire but she left soon after to handle another job. Returning to Gotham Konstantin was contacted by Oracle. She asked for help and would give him information on recent Court sightings if he accepted. Konstantin agreed and found himself on Santa Prisca with Batman, Katana, and Metamorpho.

While looking for any sign of the Parliament of Owls as they were now called Konstantin was heavily injured by Talons. Making his way to a hospital he learned who his biological father was through medical records. Oliver Queen was his father. After his wounds healed, he headed to Star City intending to confront Oliver but chose not to at the last minute. He thought about the al Ghul’s and the life he had with them as he pondered what to do. Ultimately, he chose not to confront him, at least not yet deciding that eliminating the Parliament of Owls was more critical.

Season 4

He was contacted by Artemis to help guard Cassandra Savage and Onyx. He helped go after Orphan and once that was done stayed on Infinity Island for a while with Cheshire before leaving but promised to return and check up on her.

Traveling around Europe for a while, Konstantin returned to America only to be captured by Waller and placed into her Task Force X. Waller would cut him loose after finding Konstantin in her home and learning he had been spying on her for some time. Konstantin revealed he had hoped Waller could provide him with a team to take on the Court but after several missions realized a team of villains was a horrible idea. He threatened Waller stating that if she placed him on the Squad again against his will it would not end well for her.

Returning to Star City, he finally confronted Oliver, got a job working for Bowhunter Security, enrolled in Royal University, and opened a tattoo shop.
