This was shot with a macro lens, so that's one of the reasons for this type of focus/bokeh combination

The canon ef-s 60mm f/2.8 is a great lens for a 400D, or you could go with a sigma 50mm f/2.8 macro, for less money.

wow ... well the canon is ..ahm a little high prized but the sigma i can afford. thanks a lot for the tip, in 4 maybe 5 months i can buy it!
