"Gwenom" will be in the Spider-Gwen series (unknown if it's going to be Earth-65 Gwen Stacy affected or a AU Gwen Stacy who is going to reek havoc on Gwen's life). That upcoming storyline will be Rodriguez's (Spider-Gwen's designer and first main series artist with the exception of a few issues given to substituted artists) last story arc. He retires from comics afterwards. He's going blind (currently needs a computer to help him make and see the artwork) and I read he also has growing hand problems.
Very cool work and nice transition part here.

Met the man and from my personal experience he is a nice guy and passionate about his work and Gwen (if you think about it he's a artist that has had very little time to make comics and artworks and Edge of the Spider-Verse #2 and the character Spider-Gwen and Earth-65 was a unexpected hit in his short and shortening career). At the conventions most artists have a strict time and comics limit but when I went to one where he was he stayed even after the time limit was over and freely sign as many comics that was given to him by the fans. It's probably because he's not taking what he has left for granted and grateful for this opportunity shot and hit he was given plus he general loves the character he draws routinely Spider-Gwen.

Thanks for sharing that link. I can't wait then. That'll be pretty exciting. Plus it's his last work and that is pretty amazing. It just sucks what is happening to him.
He does seem like a pretty cool guy though. But to be honest, if I made it into the industry I'd be the same way.

It's possible it's his last work but no certainties. He mentions that after that Spider-Gwen story arc he's not going to be a "main recurring artist" in a series due to the unfortunate situations that is befallen upon him. However if he is still able to make artworks and comics he willing to make them till his time is up and he can no longer do so at all. Thus maybe we will see other things from him in short but not long term till the day he informs us that he can no longer make anything anymore. Thus maybe variant covers for some series, one issue to fill in for a artist, some artwork made, ect.
Still I understanding wanting to go out strong and that story arc can be his last great bow for him from the series and character that has put his name in the industry and fanbases.
