The more I think about it, coloring for negative actually looks like it saves more drawing products and makes vivid colors in a negative photo.
Very cool. Good job!
Guaranteed fav on these types of drawings.

Woah. Thank you so much! I'm really glad you like them and get the idea ヽ(*⌒∇⌒*)ノ Because when I studied at university and showed this, teachers didn't understand me :/

Both color schemes are very neat. I like how the same shades of blue and the orange appear on both snakes, but in opposite places.

This is freaking epic if you ask me. Love the details in the painting and how simple it looks before you invert it
seriously epic work
how do you do it? is it some sort of the same negative material used for old cameras?

Thank you! Well, first of all I take a normal picture of something and invert it in photoshop or any other program to see, which color is which in negative. So to have some reference. Because without it... it is really damn confusing to draw. For now, I can only draw black and white (and monotone) things without the reference, as achromatic is way easier to imagine, how it would look like in negative. So when drawing in this way, you just have to keep in mind that the lighter the spot is, the darker you should make it.
And... I don't quite understand what you mean by "is it some sort of the same negative material used for old cameras", as my English sucks :c I just use a usual mobile camera to capture all this, without using any effects... And then, again, I just go and invert the result to see, what the actual f... I made and is it good enough. So yeah.

oooh i see, i thought you coat it with the material used in films (you know the old cameras not the digital ones, that needed the picture developed in a dark room.)
that's really interesting honestly, it's a very creative technique, and you have some awesome works

Well ye, it's hard to notice at first glance, especially on that small thumbnail... Srs, it's so small. Ahem. But anyway, the idea is not really new, as some artists already have been drawing in this way. I just wanted to try the same, try to do my best. So again, thank you for noticing my works.

I didn't use orange at all 8D Well, almost... It's inverted. But if you're about dark orange on the left, then yeah. Thanks~
