Silly comic strip taken from the 3rd X-Men movie: Raven, caught by the American Government. This is my favourite part of the movie. And is also useful for my comic. I can't translate it well because I don't know how the movie sounds in english. Anyway, this is what Mystique and the guard are saying:Guard: Raven, where is Magneto?
Raven: I don't answer if you call me with my name as slave (I don't know if it's correct, anyway I hope you can understand the meaning... sorry! ^^''
Guard: Raven Darkholme is the name your family gave to you, isn't it?
Mystique: My family tried to kill me, you stupid thing!

What she actually said was, "My family tried to KILL me you ignorant meatsack!" I@ve never heard anyone else use the word "Meatsack"; I think she was meant to say "Sack of shit" but the scriptwriters thought that if they said that, the film would get a "15" certificate and its intended audience wouldn't be able to see it.

Also the reference to "slave name"; Years ago in the US Malcolm X the leader of the Nation of islam movement said that the English names blacks had were the names of the whites who had owned their ancestors when they were slaves; he encouraged them to adopt arabic names instead. Similarly, Mystique regarded her name Raven Darkholm as a "slave name", preferring to use the name her erstwhile lover Azazel had given her (i.e Mystique)
