I thought it would be fun to build Iron Man's Helmet, so here it is. I made this fan art image in the style of a developmental blueprint, then I added a little glow to it to give it a bit of a computerized look. Maybe this is what Tony Stark's computer screen looks like as he's designing new armor. As I was building this, I thought it would be cool if Iron Man had a helmet (Mark 60 or whatever) that shot repulsor blasts out of the eyes. It would just look awesome (kind of like the heat rays that shoot out of Superman's eyes.) I suppose that there must be a zillion science and engineering-based reasons not to do this, but what the heck, this is comic book "science" after all, which tends to err on the side of "wouldn't it be neat if..."
