Description
I built a full-sized R2 unit a few years ago just for fun. (He didn't move or anything, but a few of his lights blinked, and he made authentic sounds.) Currently, he's standing guard in my studio/loft. I finally decided to build him in CAD, so here he is on an important top-secret mission. In our role-playing game, R2-V2 belongs to a Mandalorian Knight, so he's jam-packed full of fun advanced special ops gear, weapons, and shields so that he can take care of himself, and lend a helping hand (or circuit) to any tight situation that he and his owner might find themselves in. I've always liked this color-scheme for an Artoo unit. I built R2 and this corridor in Rhino 3D CAD.
