Description
I included as many authentic features and Bat-gadgets as I could based on existing comic-book lore, but there don't seem to be a lot of specific technical specifications available on this vehicles. I guess that's pretty common for comic book vehicles.Related content

This would have been more interesting to have for Robin in Arkham Knight rather than just a repaint of the batmobile. Always kind of liked this design.

Yeah, that would've been awesome! I would love a game that let you drive all of the various Batmobiles (and also Batwings!) While all the various vehicles would share certain basic capabilities, I'd design it so that each one would have a few unique capabilities, (to help justify having all of these awesome cars and jets!) Thanks for the great comment!

How do the tires turn with those shields or is there a larger internal wheel-well?

Y'know, I don't really know how that works. I gave it some serious thought and then concluded that it wasn't really my problem to solve. There are a number of different ways that it might work: 1. The shields could pivot out of the way when the front tires turn off of center. 2. The front wheels could be rigged to turn within the confines of the tire shields in a larger internal wheel well (as you suggested.) 3. The shields could even slide back out of the way whenever the vehicle is in motion, and slide back into place whenever it is parked. There are probably other ways it might work as well. As with all things comic-book related, it's probably best not to dwell on the technical details too much. I'm sure that Batman and Alfred, (and whoever else works on designing and building the Batmobiles) figured out a brilliant way for it to work.
