Description
As a fan of Hanna-Barbera/Warner Brothers Animation's "Scooby-Doo" series, I thought it would be fun to build the classic "Mystery Machine" and create some fan art. I decided to keep the cartoony proportions of the original Mystery Machine design (as it appears in the cartoons) but to render it in a more realistic style.

Before working on this project, I never really noticed just how crazy the paint job is on this vehicle. As I got deeper into the project, I really came to appreciate how cute that little van is. It's fun to think of Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby having their many adventures in the Mystery Machine.
