This one ended up as a digital scribbling of sorts with a light story behind it. It's something of a a spin off a work did on tumblr. What she drew was a work of X ready in a martial arts like pose, ready to fight. I thought of one project I've neglected a while a fight between Raven and X. And I thought "If x was ready to do some fighting, why not offer a bit of warming up?" And so I did Raven in similar fashion, pounding his gloves together, a grin on his face before the exchange of blows begins.While I liked how the basics came out, I do need to consider putting in more practice with my stylus, and learn a bit of shading and lighting, too. While I do like flat color works, learning the former is good to know, all the same. For now, it would be fair for me to consider this a decent work. After all, one has to learn how to crawl before one can learn how to run.
Looking back on that subject, I've been mulling over a few things I've neglected- I may consider doing a poll on how to proceed, but I do have a backlog that requires attention. For now, I thought this was worth a show- even if it's something of a scribble.

@ Pit: Indeed. I've seen you and DP go at it a few times. Folks would pay to see fights like that, each week.

Pit: Oh, Dark Pit and I fight every week! I've managed to come out in all the recent ones, but he's come pretty close. *puts fist on chin thinking* Come to think of it, he was getting practise from a gym recently...from some guy called Theodore?
Palutena: Yes, a pity our game wasn't out yet. But I suppose there's always Super Smash Bros! Come to think of it, Ike and Mac were coaching Dark Pit too... he was making a real mess of Shulk the other day.

@ Palutena: I remember one time when Shulk and Mac fought... it got ugly for a bit..

Pit: Yeah! Dark Pit has become more technique focused, plus Mac and Ike have been teaching him to hone his strength into stronger blows. But he's nothing I can't handle!
Palutena: Really? I know Shulk focuses a lot on his vision technique. Handy for predicting an incoming blow, but otherwise he's left open for other assaults...

Pit: Oh, Dark Pit is tough, but he won't beat me that easy! He's better off trying to clear the Minor Circuit before he touches me!

@ Pit: If you say so. When you look at it, starting at the bottom is a good way to do it. The only way to go is up.

Pit: That's true! And we're so different in style. Pittoo just isn't happy unless he's boxing someone!
Palutena: Yes, just the mention of Pittoo is enough to have him crop up...or if you mention Pit is a better boxer, which really riles him up.

Palutena: Hmmm, maybe you two should box it out to see who the Echo fighter is. I mean, what better way to establish the superior Pit?
Pit: Er... Well, I dunno... He's kind of been pre determined and all as an Echo...
