A commission for

He wanted me to draw a boxing match between two of his characters "Croco" and "Raptor" To be specific, the moment he wanted captured was as follows-
Raptor taunting Croco, and the latter making him regret with a three hit combo, culminating with a uppercut to the chin.. and that's a lot of chin to cover.

While I'm no stranger to drawing creatures, this one took a bit of time work work out. Afterwards, I experimented with a few things to add more oomph into it-
transparency for the first two hits (the right hook and left straight) to create a bit of after image and motions- since the hook was the first punch landed,
I did a bit of a wild take with the eyes reaction a bit slower, compared to the rest of Raptor's head. XD Working in blurs and smudges made the combo
feel more fluid. Raptor's not enjoying it, to be sure- a pair of black eyes, sweat spraying everywhere, and stars dancing over his head. That's the problem
when taunting during fights- sometimes the other guy will make you regret it, with interest. XD

This one took a while, but the experimentation's made me realize I have a number of tools at my disposal, and that I need to playing with them from time to time.
The end was well worth the time invested in it. I hope you guys like it all the same.
