Description

The other day, I had a hankering to try something a bit different, so I took a shot at doing a gajinka character, the result is this.-

Name: Hugo
Gajinka species: diglett
age: 16
height: 5'4
weight: 135 lbs
hair: light brown
eyes: slate grey
fighting style: still working on basics, but is leaning towards in-fighting at present

bio (tetnative)
Always happy to lend a hand, Hugo takes life one day at a time. Adept at digging and excavation, he can usually be seen around construction and mining sites, happily digging through dirt or shifting around rocks. Hailing from celtic/Somerset stock, Hugo has a somewhat peculiar dialect in terms of speaking- some folks will scratch their heads while others find it a bit funny/charming. Hugo tends to wear sunglasses most of the time since his eyes are a bit sensitive to overly bright light, when he's not wearing them, he has something of a squinty-eyed look about him, but he can see well enough all the same. Some of his coworkers suggested one day to take up a hobby since one can't just work all day. This led Hugo to trying out a few things, one of the most recent venues being boxing. In regards to the latter, Hugo has a bit to learn, but his body had been somewhat preconditioned for it on account of his mining/digging. He's happy to show folks a few pointers or go a few rounds.

Whenever he isn't engaged in digging or fisticuffs, Hugo enjoys reading and a bit of quiet. He's fond of simple foods, particularly wheat bread, vegetable soup, and deeper-n-ever turnip and tater and beetroot pie.

Thoughts-

When I started, I figured a good idea would be trying a pokemon gajinka- I may have plans for this a bit later. Anyhow, as I started, I could not seem to get diglet out of my mind, so I figured why not give it a shot? so after doodling the little mole critter, I hammered out a design that looked fairly basic- I mean, diglets are essentially moles, so I went with something pretty simple. Looking at it now, it's not too bad, though I will need to experiment with how Hugo would interact with people to get a proper feel for him- I've a good idea of the how, at the moment.
