Description
Didn't think my first work for 2020 would be a sketch done in less than a day- even with work factored in. Even so, this one turned into a nice one- haven't drawn Scythe for a while, and a thought hit halfway through- if you look closely, there's something different- a new headband. While I still plan to keep the classic grey-and-white one, this new one had a nice little origin behind it- it was a Christmas present- the kanji on it reads "strong loving father" in simplified Chinese. Writing in the kanji for the small space is a bit daunting, but I hope I got the gist of it right.

That aside, this turned into a little bit of Scythe taking a quick jump back- I like how it turned out a bit dynamic- wasn't sure at first if it would come out looking a little off, but it did, the confidence on his face made me think he's ready to face what's ahead.
