A doodle I made as a birthday gift for

This was something I mulled over for a bit- my work scheudle had me a bit limited, but something simple sounded right. So I decided to draw his OC, Sakata Jin.

One thing I thought of was Sakata celebrating a bit- which I thought would have been better than him eating a fist to the face- it's almost a joke that his face is a proverbial punch-magnet. But I digress. I thought drawing this with no bruises would have been a good way to go about this gift. Now, I still consider myself green when it comes to working with digital media, but I was able to improve a bit with the lines, though that still needs a little work, but I am happy with how it came out over all- a bit straight-forward, minimal time cleaning up the draft, and coloring wasn't as problematic as I've seen with past works.

I know while I am posting it a day later, I have shown it to on time- given how it's for him, he should be the first to see it proper.
