*UPDATE* Had to re-post since the work itself was originally flipped. I didn't realize the mistake until I
settled in to sleep last night.. but had to wait until after work to remedy that- the telltale thing being
Scythe- his mark was supposed to be on the left cheek.

What started as a quick drawing turned into a loose experiment. In this case, a scene redraw.

To be specific, I tried doing a scene from the *Betwitching Nozomi* OVA. The scene in particular is
Ryotaro Shiba during an interview after his victory in a school competition. At this point,
seeing as how the question portion went a bit unexpected, the interviewer than proposes to take
a few pictures of hitting the sandbag.

In this case, though I drew the scene with my OC Scythe in Ryotaro's position. The journalist is a bit
on the young side. He seems a bit nervous given how despite what appearances may suggest otherwise, that
Scythe was rather accommodating.

To be honest, I did not expect to get as far as I did, and I started mostly as an exercise to shake off a minor art block.
Nor did I expect to flesh out a design for the journalist. I did muse on the idea for one, though, so this may well be his
debut: Armaund Moreau. An intern at the town's local sports commission. Outside rudimentary tasks from the higher-ups, he's often tasked to do
interviews when most of the regular journalists are not available. So here he his, in a blue suit that's a bit large for him having a bit of one-on-one
with Scythe. In one sense, however, Armaund is happy with this assignment, he does have an interest in boxing, but (at the moment) he sees
himself as a bit of a coward, afraid to step into a ring and trade blows. Design-wise, the idea was more-or-less in my head already- Armaund had the glasses
and was already a bit shy and reserved. The suit makes him seem like a turtle- he'd disappear into it if things go badly.

As for Scythe, I haven't done him in an interview situation, so this was a first. For the most part, it'd be a bit slow at first, but if he sees
it almost being in a match, he'd be a lot more in the zone. I did not need to do a lot of adjusting- hitting the sandbag isn't new, but he doesn't know
what the journalist would want in this situation. But a good hit of the bag should break the ice in a few ways.

I threw this together in a few hours. While this was supposed to be a quick exercise, I'm pretty happy with it.
