An update of something I have forgotten for a long while- round 2, part 2 of the spar between my OC, Scythe Mana, and 's OC, Noa.____
*As Scythe staggered back from the uppercut, he felt something stretch against his backs- the ropes. As he felt the pain ringing in his head, he saw Noa, standing at the ready*
Noa: *thinking* That one hurt, but he's still standing.. good.Β *speaking* Not bad, hope you're ready for more..
*As Scythe comes into range, Noa throws a right jab to the face. Scythe weaves out of range, looking to get in close for an attack*
Noa: *thinking* It's time... *throws a good left straight into Scythe's head*
BAM!
Scythe: Ggh....! *the blow halts his advance. He stops a moment to shake the daze from his head* .. ow...
Noa: *smirks as he waits for Scythe to recover* Heh... is that the best you can do?
Scythe: ??
Noa: Come on.. *with a grin, Noa taunts Scythe with a flex of his muscles. * Hit me with your best shot, if you can...
Scythe: *thinking* Good grief, his body felt as hard as rock when I hit it before. Why is he taunting now, instead of pursuing an offense? ....If that's how he wants to play it , though, I won't deny him- even a mountain yields to a lowly stonecutter...

I'd forgotten this update for much longer than I intended.
I do believe, things might get interesting, in light of recent improvements I've made since the last page. Now it only remains a question as to when I'll get to the next part, between other works._

Yeah. It's of of Scythe's first experiences fighting someone with superior power and toughness... but one shouldn't count one's chickens before they hatch- it looks like he's up to something..

(Assuming Scythe has more experience of course. I'm not too familiar with who Noa is. Awesome to see more of the match though!)

(Noa's a mixed martial artist. He's just a year older than Scythe, but his skills and strength are rather impressive. His bread-and-butter is in grappling and kicking, but his punches aren't as good. The need to polish the latter facilitated this spar)

Ah!Β Well, I'm sure that Scythe can teach him a thing or two about punching then!Β Never hurts to gain some more experience and learn more!Β Or maybe it does in some cases, but still good to expand ones' skills!

(The match with Noa! Been a while since we saw this bout! Looks like he's a formidable opponent too, but Scythe's not to be underestimated either! Kudos to you again!)
Jumpy: Whoa! That guy's strong! Come on Scythe! Show him that size isn't everything! You've taken more than that before!
Kyrogk: It really isn't. Power is good, but without technique it can all come crumbling down. I learned that much early on myself.
