Greyson took a ginger step back. His ears lowered to the back of his skull and his gray fur ruffled in defense. "Grace, let me just e-" He tried to speak however, the words went tumbling back down his throat. He shook his head, tail lashing. He bit back the angry words. He made a mistake! Ellie.. The ginger feline was long gone, why did matter now?

"If the kits were born I would have done the right thing and take care of them!" He chided, his tone coming off with frustration. His stormy eyes darkened as she questioned him again. "No, Grace! I never loved her," He growled, now taking a step forward, "I have been in love with you for more than half my life." His voice was tight with emotion. Biting his lower lip, his fur bristled as he glanced away.

"I've been through hell for you. I've gone through so much pain just to be with you.. Can't you see that?" Grey questioned as he advanced closer again, voice soft. He had to tilt his head downwards so that he could look at her. Lifting his paw, he gently wiped her tears away.

"I made a mistake-" The Ironer stopped in mid-sentence and he took a step back, eyes widening in disbelief. His jaw parted to reply but nothing spilled out. Did.. Did she just play the trust card with him?? His eyebrows furrowed down in a hard frown, his fur around his neck rose in defense again. "Don't play that game me with, Grace! I have always been loyal to /you./ How can you say that to me when you had a kid with Katczinsky?"
