Ahaha I'll gladly tell you more about him! Arden is one of my favourite OCs tbh
He's from a roleplay I did with a friend some time ago. In the beginning of the story he's an inquisitor of a powerful order of mages. The laws in his world prohibit the use of magic outside this institution, so his tasks include capturing such 'wild mages' as well as hunting various dark magical creatures, like vampires.
His father is a powerful nobleman and the head of this order. The relationship between them is quite difficult though, because Arden is a gay boi xD
At some point he meets a young, sassy half-elf called Emery and falls in love with him. He teaches him how to control his innate magical powers and eventually they run away together, becoming wild mages themselves.

Awwww I like it!! wild mages, sounds like a pretty dang fun rp XD I quite like his backstory though, something about going against the norms is always appealing.
I've always liked the idea of pyromancers too, just never actually sat down and worked with one before. Might have to now that I've seen this child.
