Description
11X14 oil on canvasThis is the finished painting of Memoirs Of Spring.
The inspiration for this scene came from the same park where I painted [link] Sunrays On A Cool October Day.
I wanted to paint a scene from this wonderful park, which conveyed to the viewer how it looks in the beginning of spring. With Nature's first hues enrobing the trees and the ground a carpet of years of autumn's leaves.
The WIP version of this painting is in my [link] Scraps section.
Like always, comments are truly appreciated.

The fresh green leaves, with the dark deep background make this for a wonderful painting... your art is inspiring, and makes me want to get behind my eisel and paint more

Thanks!
I live in an city where the weather stays warm most of the year. We do have a few months of cold weather, but nothing drastic. It snowed last week, and that was awesome.

There's a real joyfulness being conveyed here, with your use of vibrant colour in the delicate spring growth. And I like the way the soft sunlight counterposes the rich darknees of the receding forest floor.

Yes, the new spring growth hues were so vivid against the sun rays, very rich as they disappeared into the shadows.
Thanks for the comment my friend!
