Eye contact II.

Panthera leo - African lion.
This photo was taken on the 26/4 - 2015.

I spent the day at the zoo with my sister this day and we got to the lions' enclosure pretty fast.
I usually stand indoors by the glass window by the lions enclosure, since it's the best place to get
a lot of close up photos of them and it's just the best place to stand - but I made an exception this day
and stood outside.

They lions were laying with their faces towards me and they were just waking up, so I didn't bother to
move inside... Until I saw them starting to play and run around. My sister told me to go inside and stand by
the glass window but the lions had stopped playing by the time I got there.
I didn't let it bother me and I had actually made up my mind to go past the lions' enclosure since I already have
a lot of photos of them, but the lioness on the photo caught my attention and made it really hard for me to leave.

I've got even more photos of lions now and I've only edited two or three of them, haha. Boras Zoo has some animals
I visit all the time and it's the lions, the bears, the penguins and the flamingos but that's mostly because I find them
the most fun and the most photogenic.
