Ursus maritimus - Polar bear.
This photo was taken on the 11/7 - 2015.

I was visiting my boyfriend and we decided to visit the zoo near his place. We've only
been there twice before and it's a really big park with a lot of walking, so we didn't go
around the park as much as we wanted to because I got really tired and because it was
too hot. I'm not a summer person, I prefer the winter, haha.

I was a bit sad when we were on our way to the polar bears because I didn't get a lot of
photos of the other animals and I got a bit happier when we got to the polar bears enclosure,
because this guy was sitting near the water and there were a few of us that were hoping that he'd
jump in to the water.

He eventually jumped in and I got his whole jumping in "action" on photo, but the photos aren't that
sharp. It was a bit hard to get good photos of the animals due to the cross-fence and it really bothered me and
this is the only image I've edited from this day. I still have my boyfriend's photo to go through, since he borrowed my
old camera and he got a bit closer to the animals than me since he used a crop camera.

The polar bear was swimming back and forth and he found a big car tire at the bottom of the water that he was
playing around with and it was so adorable.
