Description
Staring.Panthera leo - (African) lion.
This photo is from the 27/7 - 2013.
This gorgeous male lion is called Armani and he's the most majestic lion I've seen in real life and
he's really photogenic. He usually stands near the glass window by his enclosure, which makes it
easier for me to take photos of him.
He shares the enclosure with three lionesses and three cubs. The lionesses and the cubs are
from Denmark and their enclosure has one big glass window, where we can see them up close
and a view from the outside, which is where you can get an overlook of the whole enclosure, which
is pretty big.
I've always liked Armani since the first time I saw him and he's kind of the biggest reason to why
I visit this zoo as much as I can, because you can never have enough photos of him.

Wonderful light here
I wish lions in my Zoo were closer. I can't reach them with my 55-200 lens.

Thank you!
Oh, really? You can come really close to the lions here. I mean, I can use my 50mm lens and I'm still close enough o:

They are behind a moat so it's quite a big distance. With 200mm I can photograph the whole animal, but only if it decides to stay close. Sometimes it's difficult to see them because their enclosure is fairly big.
I don't even take my 50mm to the Zoo, that would be a dream coming true!

Oh, I see
I used to take my 50mm, but I started to take my 40mm lens now, as well as the 70-200mm lens o:

That's so cool. Good for you
I can use my 50mm for some of the birds, though. That's something.

And if given just one moment, you’d be the best thing he tasted for in years ( :
Funny, not nasty.
