Description
I had submitted a colour version of this earlier but being the fickle type I am, I decided to go with the black n white. Really helps cut down on the noise as the pic was taken at 800 iso with natural light.Related content

awesome, the shadows bring a great effect and they also hide some details but i'm glad it isn't at mature content so that i can view it too

Exquisite! I can't imagine this in color. The romantic atmosphere and beautiful light just cry out for monochrome!

This is an awesome shot!
I don't know if you're aware, but Photoshop cs2 has a noise reduction filter in it, thats actually quite good if you tweak it and play with it. It helped me clean up some old pictures I took with a bad camera ^^

I've been using photoshop for over 15 years, 4 of which were getting a degree in media production, and I currently work in a photo finishing studio. I'm a little ashamed to say I honestly just discovered the filter about 2-3 months ago. I guess there's no excuse for not reading up on ALL the new features with every release.
I'll have to check out noise ninja, if not for me, but for work

Note: So Noise Ninja is pretty ok I guess After playing with it for half an hour, my boss and I decided it was worth the price of admission and we purchased a copy.
So we went from me trying to help you reduce noise, to you showing a real noise reduction tool hehe. DA is a learning community, right? Anywho, just wanted to say thanks

i think my favorite part of the lighting, is either...around the hands holding the face.. or the hands going in towards the legs.. and the legs around it..creates a really neat feel

Thanks, this is why I wish I could drive and get out of my little box more often, I can't do light setups like this with what I have and there's just so many things better about natural sunlight.

mmhmm...Sometimes I just right a bunch of my ideas down, and ask if one of my friends want to do it..
