Me toooo xD I thought that this scene was soooo cute! But what else could they do with Peter? They sloppy revealed he's the son of Magneto, but then they didn't use it. So what other purpose besides a cool scene could he have? That's why they made the scene so long, I assume. And yeah... Sophie Turner didn't fit as Jean. Didn't like here scenes. And the hell Havok as the older brother? Like no? Havok was in general a waste. I love the character, but he never had real relevance and urgh now we completely destroyed the character -.-

just before we saw the movie a friend told me that marvel never kills anybody, always brings them back somehow and BAM, havok died
also i waited peter to reveal that he is the son of magneto to him but that will be an action for the upcoming movies i guess. and can we talk about how jean literally overpowered apocalypse on her own? i mean yes she is a powerful mutant but until her phoenix days she wasn't even that strong in the first triology of x-men? HOW?Β

Maybe they want to make her like her comic daughter? Didn't she have the phoenix force earlier in her life than her? I... actually don't know. Anyhow, it was unlogical.

well it's obvious they only use little parts from the comics and blend them together in the least logical ways

It was just a poor cameo. Was not really necessary in my eyes, but it's probably there to prepare the next Wolverine. Also the after credit scene looks like a teaser for Wolverine. Maybe X-23 will happen!
