Mistress of Illusion- The silver mare is a powerful magic user, though her specialty is in illusions. When she puts her mind into one she can fool any sense, sight and sound are easy, but taste and touch are where the details are. She can make you believe your eating turkey when in reality it's just an apple she had sitting near by, but your senses will be fooled into believing otherwise. She can also craft hard-light illusions, basically they can stand up to being felt and seem real until they are given anything more then a light tap. They can't inflict damage but while these hard-light ghosts are about, it's nearly impossible to tell that they aren't living creatures with any of the six senses. Ariehian can see, hear and even feel what her illusions do, even feel their pain to a limited degree. This means she can create a hard-light avatar of herself and use it to explore human cities while her true body is safely hidden a few miles away. The limit on her illusions seem to be size and distance, such as a small illusion can be broadcasted miles away, provided she has a good mental image of the local. While a larger shadow must be close to her, something her own size for instance would start to break apart only a hundred meters from Ariehian. However this remains her strongest ability and the unicorn's sharp mind can put it to use in creative ways, confusing and bogging down her foes so her slender form isn't inharms way until she knows victory is her's.

Magical Blood- Ariehian's blood is saturated with concentrated enigma energy, this lets her pull off complicated magics. While she is more at home in illusion, the other classes of magic are not unknown to her, though noticeably weaker then another magic user of similar abilities. In spilling her blood Ariehian can enrich the area with enigma energy for a short while, increasing the effectiveness of her spells, though it also works for kaiju sensitive to enigma or can use magic themselves.

Selki Shapes- Ariehian can take two other forms, the first being a aquatic shape where her legs and tail fuse together into a big fatty whale fluke. She gains a darker color and loses most of her fur, though her upper half remains humanoid. Said to resemble something like a narwhal, the unicorn of the see. This lets her take flight into the water or take the battle there is needed to, she still needs to breath air od course but it lets her be more flexible. Her other shape makes her already light body even lighter still, her hooves become sort of hybrid talons, but still hoof like while her mane and other furred areas become feathered and finally she sprouts twin pure white wings with a few light blue highlights. This 'flight-mode' is for last resort measures only, it takes a lot of energy to shift into it, though she can still fight in this shape she is still weakened from the change itself. This grants Ariehian the power of flight, going after pesky fliers or escaping from land bound foes.

Grace and Strength- The mare is very fast on her hooves and about as agile as a mountain goat, she sways and bends like an expert dancer and in general is just a pain to try and focus on in the heat of battle. Ariehian depends on not being hit, as it doesn't take a hole lot to knock her down. While she is fairly thin and slender, that doesn't mean Ariehian is weak by any means. She hits surprisingly hard and with that calculating glare she can put her strike in the best possible area to cause the most damage. Not as strong as her sister of course, but what she has, Ariehian uses expertly.

Family Traits- As with her sister Iobos, Ariehian gained quite a few gifts from her father's genetics. She has a powerful regeneration that can replace minor organs with enough time and mend her broken body with frightening ease. While she does not push this ability like her sister, it has been a great boon to Ariehian's thin body over the years. She can also absorb electrical attacks and remain unharmed, even firing back bolts of lightning from her horn if need be. Unlike Iobos, Ariehian does not have to wait for a storm, she can use her magic to channel electricity or lightning to her directly so she might bring those abilities into the fight. She can also channel this electricity into her weapon as well as her own body, charging herself up to be stronger and faster for a time.

Kirin Horn- It might be awkward, but the horn is a powerful weapon in it's own right, slashing side to side or in a stabbing charge it can punch through most forms of armor, though it's position makes it a very hard to use weapon. At best it can deflect over head mounted blades or horns.

Twisted Rapier(Thorn of Rose)- This sword is a long thin rapier, the blade itself resembles a twisted unicorn horn, similar to Ariehian's own, though far longer. Held like a trained fencer, the mare is deadly with the blade, stabbing and slicing in a hail of blows, almost too fast to see at times. It might look like it would snap under a little pressure, but the rapier has held strong for years, even able to channel electrical energy to make it more powerful. The name of the weapon comes from the odd fact that many humans compare beautiful maidens to a 'rose and of course the phrase that every rose has a thorn. As her main weapon, Ariehian named it 'Thorn of Rose' a reference to her being said rose and needing the protection.

Weaknesses:

Delicate Beauty- As stunning and graceful as Ariehian is, she doesn't have the raw endurance or build to stand up to the sort of excessively brutal attacks that most kaiju are known. While she can come back from just about anything, it only takes a few hits to force the mare to flee for her own safety.

Untrusting- Though some might mistake her for a guardian of humanity, the truth is that she trusts them about as much as your average wood-chipper. If she sees some sort of injustice or innocents being hurt she will feel compelled to act, but in the end Ariehian is looking out for number one and not a single soul is worth her risking her own life.

Magic Horn- Though hard, Ariehian's horn can be broken, no matter if it is a slight crack of full on torn off, the effect is the same. When damages she is unable to cast any magic, not even the weakest illusion. Her horn is the main focus of all her power and without it she must rely on her swift hooves to get her out of trouble. Thankfully it can heal if given enough time, though the mare is vulnerable during this time.

Personality: Prim and proper, Ariehian likes to keep to herself and try to learn as much as possible. Because of this drive she is often found using her avatar to read books from the best library she can find. While her opinion of humans in general is rather low, she is enthralled with their creations, from simple mechanics to the great littoral classics. There is no swifter way to get Ariehian angry then to threaten anything she considered a bank of knowledge. However unlike her sister, when the mare gets truly angered, she grow quite and more icy until she is borderline robotic, though still moving with stunning grace. The unicorn is also attracted to people she considered pure souls while she may not always jump to their defense, there is a far greater chance she will try to save them then a normal person. Children are her breaking point, Ariehian can't stand to see children of any sort harmed in the least, there are even occasions where she has used her avatar to adopt and raise the child as her own, at least until they are of age. Then she will vanish mysteriously, knowing that she can't risk growing too attached, for fear her sister might try to kill the adoptie.

On the outside she is a calm and cool ice-queen, though she isn't as naive as Iobos who cast off emotion all together, Ariehian simply controls her's. One of the few things that comes close to breaking her cool is her sister, Iobos is on some sort of crusade to make Ariehian's life utter hell, most often by destroying whatever city the mare is calling home. She will not hesitate to attack her sister if she sees Iobos first, hoping to minimalism the damage done to the local library in the process. While Ariehian does her best to block out her sister's raging, she did pick up a few tidbits about their father and that he abandoned them. Ariehian has no memory of any father or even a mother, but she can't disprove how similar she is to Iobos, so the crazed cow has a point on their relation. Ariehian can't help but wonder about her father and over the years a similar sort of hate has began to grow, if her father could just leave her and drive her sister to become this beast, how could she even consider him a decent being? While she doesn't quite want to kill her father if she ever finds him, the unicorn is pondering if she should out of principle.

Epoch: Epoch 1 on through.

Important Dates:

200 BC- Months after the ape kaiju known as Glog-Pa ran into a magical quite mare, Ariehian is born, though the birth kills her mother.

190 BC- Ariehian discovers that she can make herself look human through illusion and just becomes another homeless child to any village to hides in and continues like this for many years.

160 BC- The young mare learns how to read and becomes entranced with anything covered in written words.

100 AD- Using what she learned from her beloved books and her own magic, Ariehian crafts her sword and clothing.

300 AD- Iobos catches a scent similar to her own while passing near a human city and in leveling it she learns of the existence of Ariehian and vise-versa. Ariehian then begins to move about, never staying in any one city for long, if she can risk it, which starts the game of cat and mouse with her sister.

478 AD- Breaking from her MO, Ariehian hid in Ireland until the modern day, where she grew fond of the culture, even creating a name for herself from the local tongue.

Modernday- Ariehian woke up and took to the nearest city in France, as she explored she learned of London and began to move between the two, living largely in peace until Iobos tracks her down.

History:
The young mare's first memory stretches back far into her childhood, she even faintly remembers her mother's cold body after she was born. It was tough for her to survive but the young unicorn managed until she was just a child and learned of her illusionary magic. Using it she could slip into human villages and find food, water and anything else she wanted. Early on she learned how to make hard-light coins to pay for the things the mare wanted. For most of her early life, not much at all happened.

Then in her budding teen years Ariehian found a book tossed out of a window, on stealing it the mare slowly worked out how to read over the course of the next couple years. As she grew into her prime Ariehian gathered as much information as she could and started to stalk any city with a massive library. Over time she moved around a lot and even figured out how to create an illusionary human avatar when she could no longer go inside cities for fear of destroying everything. This cycle was broken suddenly by a rampaging bovine monster that forced Ariehian to show herself, they spoke just long enough to realize they were sisters before Iobos attacked.

The battle was a draw, neither were in any shape to chase down or kill the other, so instead Ariehian chose a new city to hide near. For a few years this worked and she healed in a week or so, meanwhile she had her pick of any book she could find, at least until Iobos managed to track her down again. This new cycle began to form, neither sister really spoke a word outside of a curse of death threat in this time and for a few hundred years the trend remained unbroken.

At least until Ariehian retreated to Ireland where she remained until she felt the instinct to find a nice safe place to sleep. She slumbered right into the new age of kaiju where she woke. She remained in Ireland, having grown fond of their humble customs and strong people, she even crafted a name for herself. But soon the thirst for information flared up again and Ariehian turned her eyes to the east, where she found Britan and France. Bouncing between the two the kaiju kept a low profile and used her hard-light avatar who called herself Ms.Ariene Rhian Amalthea and claimed to be a writer of sorts. All was well until Iobos caught her sister once more, but this time the bull had something else in mind than just violence, not blind to her sister's habits she knew that the unicorn practically devoured every scrap of literature she came across...

And here she is at long last.

Ariehian is my second half to my tribute to the movie 'The Last Unicorn' which her sister plays the part of the 'Red Bull' and so on. And yes her title as 'The Vast Unicorn' is a pun on the movie's title. Couldn't help myself. Her mother was a unicorn like creature, possibly even a Kirin, who died from childbirth and left her alone in the world. However because of this she attached herself to humanity and in later years would even craft a sort of 'avatar' to walk among and interact with them. Though similar to her sister she doesn't really like us, she likes our books, our science and philosophy, but not so much who we are.

As for her design, she came out a little too beastial than I would have liked, which is kinda funny to me. Iobos came out too humanoid and Ariehian too beast like. In any case she is supposed to be tall, thin and very lithe. Kinda like that one female gargoyle from 'Gargoyles' that you see running a book shop in London...huh...until now I never realized how alike she and Ariehian are. However Aks did an extremely good job, as he always does. Anywho. In combat she is very much a glass cannon, she can however last long enough to make sure she hits a few times. She is related to Glog-Pa after all and even if she isn't quite built for fighting, she can and will.

She has a lot of powers, but she can't use all of them easily or at once, making her flexible but it's a high-cost method of battle. Her alternate forms are also somewhat based on the movie, as narwhals are kinda the unicorns of the sea and doves are just white, known worldwide as a sign of peace which fits with the unicorn theme well enough for me to fudge it.

She is also one of the few kiaju who can interact with humans on our level, without towering over us and so on.

This completes all of my Glog-Pa arch and yes know it's another boring third person write up. THE WORD OF GOD! Or at least one of them.

In the future the sisters will be coming to blows and the topic of child support will come up...don't worry, that will be a detailed story built to thrill and cause chuckles. These bios are largely just to set the scene and let you get to know my actors.
