Description
You know why I prefer Garrus to Kaidan? Every time you talked to Kaidan, he'd be all "Shore leave, shore leave! Oh, and emo backstory!", whereas Garrus would say, "Need me for something? A suicide mission? Right behind you, Shepard." Guess who's got their mind on the job, eh?
Okay, I really need to find out what is wrong with my scanner, it seems to enjoy taking every grain in the paper and blowing it up out of proportion.

I'm surprised he didn't throw in 'calibrating' somewhere in there. Or I missed it. I also missed Mordin saying that "Don't swallow" line. >/

Nah, if he said calibrating anywhere in the romance scene, I would have punched him. Or just prayed for a renegade interrupt Oh yes MORDIN!
That salarian has the BEST lines in the whole game
DO NOT INGEST! He's such a bloody classic.

I know, right! Everything he says is either brilliant or hilarious. I love how Bioware just KNEW people were going to try and romance the guy, way to break our hearts
I wonder what sort of surprises are in store with ME3's new characters?

I wasn't, mostly because in human terms, he'd probably be pushing 80. Plus, Mordin didn't seem like he would care at all for romance over science.

Well true, but Mordin had the best lines and some of the most memorable conversations. Age didn't look like it could daunt the guy Yeah, I'm pretty sure Mordin's true love is science, not even Shepard can change that for him

Oh yes, that's for sure. I was having such a good time and laughing so much. If only turians could blush!
It was like, every time I went down to talk to him, I was wondering whatever he'd come up with this time, lol.
Oh well. It might also mean that turian females should have a strong build for carrying a baby, pregnancy I mean? Or perhaps it's a good perch for the male during sex?

I'm sure if Garrus could blush he would have been a completely different colour every time he talked to Shepard So awkward but so cute!
LOL If I start wondering about turian reproduction I should surely laugh my ass off
I always had the idea that the females were larger than the males though
maybe for the pregnancy thing, but also just because it would be hilarious to have females taller than the guys

Ha ha ha, you got that right! And since Shepard plays totally clueless, she'd bugger him about that every time, asking what's wrong.
Yeah, it's a very interesting topic, I think Garrus' comments about sparring destroyed the idea of romance for all eternity, lol. Now all we can think about is rough sex, rawrrrrr.

Oh Shepard, talking the hell out of your crew since 2183...
Yeah, but then again, since the turians are so militaristic and heavily armoured, it might stand to reason that they're not a very romantic bunch It's seems more logical to have turian couples beating the crap out of each other rather than sweet-talking, but maybe that's just me
Shepard likes it rough, haha

Well you know ... it's either that or they are super-romantic and goes into all kinds of foreplay rituals just because the act itself isn't all that pleasurable.
But personally, I really like to think of them as very gentle creatures when it comes to intimate friendships.
Lol. I would SO have loved to see her and Garrus (or him and Garrus for that matter) on the sparring mat!

Aw but the only thing more satisfying than humping a dinosaur is dumping said dinosaur on his ass when he gets too confident... But yes, I'm sure that even turians have their gentle sides
Like of all the aliens, salarians kinda strike me as really family orientated, even though they don't even have children the usual way.
Aw Bioware's got me thinking so hard into all these imaginary cultures, haha~
I'm sure there are some good fanfics and fanart of that stuff! I'd draw one myself, if I didn't already have a ton of WIPs in the pipeline!
But in the future... "Definitely!"

LOL! xD Awwww ... ouch. Good thing there are so many turian males to choose from then, eh? Just work your way through the crowd.
Yeah .. I've been having fun with Garrus' potential gentle side in a story I've been working on here on DA, it's about the murder of a fellow C-SEC colleague of his and he ends up being the one to break the news to his friend's pregnant wife ... It was fun experimenting with body language and so on. And I am most definitely planning to try some steamy hot turian on turian sex for chapter two.
Salarians .. never really thought about that honestly, but now that you mention it. They seem to value blood-lines and genetics to an extreme intent. I guess that gave me the opposite idea, that it's all about breeding and not about family life at all.
Ha ha, I haven't really seen that much so far, I remember a couple of fanfics that had Shepard and Garrus sparring and even going to tiebreakers lol. Haven't seen any fanart of actual sparring so far though. Looking forward to your version!

LOL We haven't seen any turian females, that's for sure, so stands to reason they're all big tough guys Yays for the turians!
Yes I was reading your comic, it looked very interesting! And dear god, THE TURIANS!!! how on earth did you summon to patience to draw them all, on every page??? Brilliant!
Haha, looking forward to some xeno-love, that's for sure!
True, but the way they're so dedicated to their family line kinda makes me wonder if they're that devoted to the people in their family... Of course, they would have lots of family squabbles, but even though only one person gets the actual mate, does the whole clutch get divided amongst the family? Assuming from typical amphibious spawning it seems like you can get QUITE a lot of children from one laying might be a bit hard to support, I'd think! I discovered a soft spot for all the NPC couples in ME2, actually
Oh good old Illium. And that "lifespan" turian on the Citadel
Ereba and Charr!
I wonder what Wrex has to say?
Haha, might have to put a hold on all Mass Effect fun, I just discovered the wonders/crapsackiness of Dragon Age Origins...

Yes perhaps. I know of at least one female turian General after all.
Oh, thank you. Ha ha, because I LOVE turians and I felt the urge to pay my tribute to them ... After a while it gets easier I suppose. I'm so not looking forward having to draw humans though .. can't draw humans for the life of me. Never been interested in them so I never practised human-drawing.
Lol, thanks, I hope I won't disappoint.
Oh my god .. family squabbles. imagine a house full of Dr.Mordins speaking at once????? xD
Ha ha, yes those are good questions. Never thought about that but it does sound like the salarians expend their families by a LOT each time, doesn't it?
Aww, well I hope you'll have fun. I was thoroughly disappointed in that game myself and never made it to the finish line. I was stunned by how ugly the graphics were compared to Mass Effect. Hard to imagine the game even comes from the same company.

Ah, I haven't seen her yet, then i've seen the lieutanant in the comics though
Wow, you're dedicated! and LOL! I can't believe Mordin hasn't been snapped up for breeding yet >.> He IS a genius doctor (okay, maybe that's just my Asian sensibilities talking, you know how much we revere doctors ) And yes, having that many children in one go might be a bit hard even on the most dedicated parent
I'm seriously wondering how they manage
Then again, each parent has just as many siblings, so maybe they share!
Well, I played it and yes, I agree, the graphics are not on par with Mass Effect's, but I think it boils down to them having to handle a lot more characters at once (you DO have control over 4 at any one time, compared to just Shepard + squad powers) so I could forgive them for that. But it really made up in storyline and characters Oh the voice acting! Well, I was a fantasy person before I took up sci-fi, you could say that Dragon Age is almost like returning to my roots
But I strongly urge you to finish it (just play it on Casual, I never cared about gameplay) because it has lots of great endings and the characters' hilarity only stacks
Try not to compare it all the time to Mass Effect, and its own merits will shine

Ha ha, has anyone seen her? Yeah, I did see that lieutenant too, not too impressive if you ask me. I mean, physically.
You could say that. When I fall for something it's 24/7 pretty much. But I am starting to feel a bit worn out right now, I've been working so hard to finish up the first chapter. I might need some serious downtime after these final few pages. I just hope it won't mean the end of everything Mass Effect for me.
Oh .. I suppose medicine and the practisers thereof are very important in Asian culture. But Mordin's a really cool character. I'm sure he'd have a breeding list long as his horn behind him. He he, good point there about siblings, maybe that's how they do it? Gee, with salarians rapid aging and so on, I wonder just how fast the little ones grow up? Maybe they reach adolescence in a few months when we take a couple of decades?
Maybe that's what it is ... or maybe they're simply using a totally different game engine? Well I'm glad you're enjoying the game. I made it pretty much all the way through except the final stretch, the arch-demon battle, so I felt I had enough. Also, Morgan's voice actor did a role in Gears of War3 that I recently played and I just kept seeing that half naked mage rather than a heavily armoured warrior everytime I heard her speak. xD

wow don't worry, Bioware's awesomeness seems to multiply the more time you spend on it... I mean, think of all our playthroughs >.> I STILL do EVERYTHING, even though I've done it at least 6 times before
Oh Mordin haha, salarian lifespans and maturing rates seem to be pretty darn interesting, eh?
Man, I can't believe i spend more time studying fictional alien biology and sociology rather than REAL Bio...
But yeah, I guess salarians WOULD grow up pretty fast.
They have a lot to do in the rather shorter time given to them! but actually I think if you add up the hours they are awake, they may even live longer...
I wouldn't be surprised if they were using different engines, they appear to have been aiming for different things (I think of it as an RTS game with 4 units and a very heavy dose of awesome RPG story) but personally I feel that both games hit what they were aiming for And hit me too, along the way!
Oh dear, the battles
I'm someone who usually wishes they left the 'dragon' out of Dragon Age.
it WAS a tough battle, even after handicapping the AI mooks. Hehe, I might play Gears 3 sometime, I look forward to hearing the awesome Claudia Black again! She was Admiral Xen in ME2, at any rate, the next time I join the flotilla I'm going to be laughing so hard...

I agree. Even though I'd have to admit I'd rather skip all the side missions during the first game these days. Or most of them anyway.
Definitely. Out of nowhere, a fan character popped into my head some time ago, I guess he'll be the turian equivalent of Mordin, not AS fast and chatty but nearly as crazy, lol.
I'm like that myself. For whatever reason, humans have never interested me much. Spending quality time with fictional beings though ...
That's an interesting idea, never really thought about that. But they say an average human being spends a quarter of their life sleeping, or something like that. So maybe salarians equal things out a bit by needing less sleep and staying active instead?
That's probably what they do then. I was surprised to learn that Mass Effect uses the Unreal engine. I wonder what Dragon age uses?
Aw, well the dragon was pretty much the only thing that kept me going, lol. And since I never got to that battle, I ended up watching it on YouTube instead, he he.
Cool. Admiral Xen? Who in the world is that? Totally have forgotten ...
