Introduction:
Before you go and flame me (I hope don't) first thing that I need to say is: This is an AU world that I created and has nothing to do with the Original Gensokyo's "Official map". And the map itself are created by (which actually is an edited version of the original Stangereal world map from Ace Combat series). And oh yeah, about this map. This is the map for my Touhou x Ace Combat fanfic, which will be released soon (probably late September-early October). In this fanfic, every touhou character riding an military aircraft (Fighters, Bombers and Helicopters) instead flying "naturally" like in Touhou canon.

Lore:
In Year 129 PBE (2014 AD), a strange phenomenon occurred in Gensokyo; large meteor crashing into the Gensokyo's planet surface, causing a devastating catastrophe that damaging the 45% of the environments. No longer after that, every inhabitant of Gensokyo losing their natural flying abilities as well as their danmaku shooting and magical powers because of the radiation from the mysterious meteor. As the time Goes, the people of Gensokyo start to using military hardware as the replacement of the losing magical ability.

Eight years later, in 137 PBE (2022 AD), a Global cold war sparks between Moriya Union and Scarlet Federation. At the first time, it only appears as the normal yet thrilling period just like other cold war (like USSR and United States in Real Life) but later it getting more violent by the beginning of the Myouren-Shotoku war that also triggered the other minor conflict.

-Moriya Union = Moriya Shrine+Youkai Mountains+Great Youkai Forest+Genbu Ravine
-United States of Aetherus = Heaven/Bhavagra
-Chireiden Socialist Repubilc = Former Hell+Palace of the Earth Spirits
-Federal States of Myouren = Myouren Temple
-Holy Shotoku Empire = Hall of Dreams' Great Mausoleum/Senkai
-Union of Kishinjou = Shining Needle Castle
