He shifted on his feet, raising his eyes towards the girl with a sickening sort of smile. "What do you say, young one? Judging by your attempted suicide, I'd say you.. want to disappear."She looked up, eyes bloodshot and mouth parted. She finally whispered, "Are you a monster?" The man stiffened, his giant raven wings folding behind him. "Because... if you are..."
She grunted as she struggled to her feet. "Please. Just kill me, monster."
