layers, soft edged brush, i go 1 by 1, varying the size of the brush, etc. it takes time.

and yes i can achieve by layering, brushing, and using some blend modes to bring out the effect into front. and so you can too.

The foto itself is already amazing, and what you did with it is impressive. However I have just one technical question. Did you put every 'dot' there individually or did you use special brushes with scattering and shape dynamics to make the stardust? just curious because I like the way they are spread in curves as if the sparkles are flying around...
