Description
Some background into my process for art.
With traditional media you can have a simple character and pose and if it is drawn well, then people will appreciate the artistry of it. But if you try that same image in digital 3d, it is boring. So to help go from a "boring 3d render", my goal is to try to tell a story, or at least make you wonder what the story is based on the poses and elements in the shot.
In this shot I titled it "The Pet", because then you would look and not see any traditional "Master and Pet" poses. The dynamic does not seem right for that. Then...you have a story. Which is the master and which is the pet?. Then there are other elements in the shot like the violin. Why would a violin be in the jungle with these two?..bam..another story. The fun/art comes in trying to put elements into the shot and somehow make them believable enough to be there as well, without that, the story gets lost again.
So these are the types of things I do to try to make a medium that can be boring hopefully a bit more interesting.

Kinda funny scene but also very well done posing, lighting and composition! There's sure a lot of story to it

All medium can be boring.
Just go to the frontpage here to find thousands of examples
This one here is in deed not boring at all!
There's already a lot of stories in their faces alone!
I like that!
