Description
"'I am about to attempt to break into your mind,' said Snape softly. 'We are going to see how well you resist. I have been told that you have already shown aptitude at resisting the Imperius Curse. You will find that similar powers are needed for this… brace yourself, now. Legilimens!'"Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix -
Chapter 24, Occlumency
This is probably the book I like the least, mostly because Harry is so angry and egocentric most of the time... and then we have Umbridge to make it all worse :/
Still, there are some bright moments
Imagine to have that guy inside you head.... dream or nightmare?
Oh, and the dreamlike things in the left and right panel of the picture are Harry's memories. The Dementors, Hermione as a cat, The Department of Mysteries, Dudley's red bike/bicycle, Aunt Marge's bulldog and the Sorting Hat.
Harry Potter and the character: Severus Snape belongs to JK Rowling and Warner Bros.
Watercolours and ink.

Amazing work! I like how you juxtaposed the memories on either side of him. The whole legilimency concept was very disturbing to me--the very idea of anyone entering your thoughts!

I wish I knew enough about art to explain why I like it so much. I guess I like formal balance and lots of pattern. Anyway, this perfectly evokes a very difficult scene to illustrate.

Oh Gosh I loved the szene. Dumbledore must had have so much hope that both of them will get a long as soon Severus sees, that harry had a miserable life. *sighn* I think the memories could be a bit clearer, I was able to understand all on the right sight, but I had my problems with the left. (I think Sev's shoulders are to small but god damn it he's so beautiful again *blush*)

Yea, you're probably right
I wonder what would have happened if Snape would have got a glimpse of Lily in Harry's memories...
I wanted them to look a little dreamlike and not so clear, they are more symbolic for what takes place...
Yea, you're right, he's shoulders are too small! Changed it a little bit know, do you think it looks any better? Thanks for pointing

Yeah it does, but I think the whole head/body relation is a bit well... out of proportion. ^^"" His head is just to big (but still I really like it, things like this always happen too me ^^)
If I recall, he saw Harry in front of the mirror of Erised or was this just in the movie? I think unfortunately he must see in harry just the Boy, who could have been his son, but instead in his eyes he's nothing else then a miniature James. I wonder, what would have happen, if Harry would have been a girl and look more like his mum... well but it's just all tears and he never manage to see Harry as he was ;.;

yea, the head is to close to the shoulders as well... :/
I though about that too...
But I guess his loathing for Harry, in some way, was his way of protecting himself from all the sad memories/feelings inside him. Harry is the mix of one of the persons he liked the least and the person he liked the most (at least before the Potter's death) and he is also a walking reminder of Snape's guilt in their death.

In her death, I would say. And yes a very mean reminder of his mistakes. And here he's again just Snape, isn't it? When he feels guilty and hurt he gets very mean and nasty. Little bastard.
