This looks disgusting, You've done a great job. He does however look very petrified, I would think even someone as dead as this guy would have a wee bit of subsurface scattering going on..and I'm not sure I'm seeing that. Love the detail and the lighting.

for the final version, (given that I nearly always go for a detailed illustrative feel rather than 'real'), i hand painted in some warm areas just to give contrast between more and less petrified flesh
