Ravin is a mischievous imp of a character who breaks the 4th wall. If she finds herself in a rough spot, she can escape out of the frame and dive back into another. To people in the comic, this makes her seem like she crawls out of some dark unknowable location and makes her appear out of nowhere. To the audience, Ravin's really just a trouble-making scamp. This allows her to do things like wander into past rounds to figure out secrets she shouldn't know. There's also this nagging voice in her head relaying instructions from 'The Writer' that she generally listens to and obeys, regardless of what might benefit her own team.

The Rule Lawyers are how she fights. All Ravin needs to do is explain the rules of the game and anyone who hears it is stuck playing. Breaking the rules outright will make a Rule Lawyer latch onto you like a Cheat-Seeking Missile and summons all the worst luck.

She prefers to try and get people to fight, finding delight in the conflict and joy in escalating them to points of no return. If she is forced to actually fight, she knows how to twist the rules to her own games in clever ways to make bad fortunes do her dirty work.
