I was just playing around to create realistic glasses and this is what I came up with . Used studio lighting method for the lighting . postwork in Photoshop .Used 3ds max with v ray and hdri lighting to create this
It took about 2-3 h to get this right
rendering time : 15 mins .

That's really cool
About the glass and the liquid, it's all perfect
But i noticed some Noise on the ground, can you see it with me LOL
I guess the reason is the HDRI, you can get rid of that all by using Vray dome light, and affecting the reflection

As i told you, just use Vray dome light
It's very perfect, and a good to use instead of just HDRI in the enviroment
Try that and tell me..

Really nice! The caustics can be improved on though They look blurry. Maybe more photons, less mix?
