Description
This is a commissioned painting I did (that I finally finished.
) I get so behind sometimes. Oh lordie. I really love how it came out. Trees, lavendar bushes, blackberry bushes, and crows. Acrylic. 16 x 20.

Amazing background. The colorful on the trees is spiffy especially since it's a cartoony outline it throws everything into your own style.

i love the perspective on this... plus theres a lot of depth from the light in the background. it reminds me of dan thibodeaus natural abstract oils ... especially Childs Park and Poppies

Hmmm... good question ..what do you like to paint with? (This is acrylic....) Tips... tips.. hmmm... Paint what you like? Use reference? Don't be afraid to be spontaneous? I don't know if that is helpful..... Hmmm...Any questions?

i like to paint with acrylic because it seems the easiest to me... but yeah, i dunno, i think all i have to do is just paint MORE. that would help.

Just beautiful. The trees take the place of the sky-- this seems so surreal, but at the same time it's not (did that make sense?)

Ohhh! Thanks! I was super happy with this painting, but I'm kinda worried that I go overbaord with the green. XD. I varnished this painting and everything. It felt really cool to varnish a painting, feel professional and all.

That VW van is great.
If you've ever seen Little Miss Sunshine, which I recommend for anyone who is having a bad day, it makes you want a VW van very badly.
