Wow, I love your curious style in this picture. How all of the monsters are climbing on eachother and the little boy just seems to be in the middle of it all. The orange format is great too. Really, I hope you make it into the children's book feild, I would totally buy your books for my cousins and my soon to come nephew. x3

Wow~! Thank you.. oh that really brightens up my night. I'm sitting here working on this painting telling myself.. "dude, why the fuck do you paint so slow, your fucking retarded dumb-fuck, why the fuck do you continue to do this to yourself. it is already 11, you have 6 hours of painting left and work from 9-5 tomorrow".. ah... well, thank you.. you have reminded me that my careless treatment of my own health is going to something worthwhile.

WOW! You're welcome. XD Don't worry, that's what I'm like only it's "Hey stupid you've been sketching for how long? Are you ever going to get beyond sketching -insert alot of fucks to because the word fuck seems to be popular XD-"

Thanks.. This is interesting... You commented on the most easy (this) and most hard (perspective thing) peices I have posted so far in terms of concept and time-consumption... hehe.

Ahh! Thank you. I keep sending out postcards to publishing houses.. maybe someday someone will pay me to draw like this. I wish I was a writer.. It would be cool if I could just write a book myself.

Yeah, it's too bad you don't know someone who writes even, this piece looks like it could have a good story to it!

Wow thanks! I gotta revamp that site. The code is all jumbled. I really need to make a fun animated flash site.

I hope to be a pro someday (I spent enough time at Art School to put me on the right track). I've had a few things in print, gotten into a few animation festivals, had a show or two and I'm always working on freelance. I don't exactly know what that places me at. Aprentice? Journey man? I try to keep all my part-time jobs in the art field (Frameshop assistant, Art store Clerk, Art Teacher, art assistant.. that kind of thing) Officialy my BFA says Animation and Illustration, but I haven't gotten a book published or had a full-time job above the 'internship level' in the real world (yet). I'm struggling through some side projects, but it is hard to juggle everything with limited time I have. A few of my side projects are starting to get done. There is this anthology that I'm working on through my old college (MassArt). We lost a lot of our funding for the comic anthology, so it won't be printed until next semester. I have the early sketches up on my site under 'side projects' it is about Roman gods and a cow. Someday I want to have a web comic, but, I have a long way to go.. A long long way to go and I already feel old. I can't believe how young and talented everyone on DA is. I hope people don't think I'm too old be to here, but, I live in the suburbs and need art friends.

me too, i wish i could become a pro. U know what, i haven't gotten BFA yet (i just graduated from Certificate in FA). I wanted to study Master in Illustration. But they said that i must take up BFA... sigh. I think I can't do it. But im glad that everyone saw my galllery here, I got art commissions.

But your great artstyle is very important. What if, they ask you to make illustrations for children's book? Most clients love finding DA artists here for commissions. Well yeah there are many many many DA talented and young artists but they are not one. All artists are equal because of their different artstyles.

well, ME TOO, i feel old but i really love my own artstyle! if you feel old, just continue to believe your dreams dear. I believe you can do it. need art friends? hey, im here for you (yey can we be friends?)

Yea! New Art friend!

You don't need an degree in Art to be an illustrator. Your already an Illustrator!

I might someday persue a Masters in Communication Design and filled up my electives with 3d modeling, but it is really expensive and I'll just be even older when I'm done. Currently, I live right near RISD so, I'm hoping to take a few extra classes there when I can save up the course fees.

Where did you receive your certificate in Fine Arts?
That is really cool about the commissions! That is exciting!

me too! i'm glad that i have a new friend like you! Ohhhh 3D modelling is very expensive! well, you will better to save your money for classes. OR else, try experimenting your clay!

Well i received my certificate in FA in University of the Philippines College Baguio. I planned to take up BFA but my parents refused. Because they were worried if I was independent.... hahahaha... like they didn't want me to be lost. You can put your words on your journal about your commissions. So you might have extra money for classes. or you can sell your paintings in EBAY or here.

what a design! and great composition , and great characters ^^ you rule! you should be famous i think, it always frustrates me, since i got DDs, when i see people much more talented than i am, but with less pageviews on their pages
great piece, different style than in this with dragons/snakes, but still gorgeous!

What are DD's?

You should be famous! Your work is awesome.
How about this : WE will be famous.

But it is hard to find time to make art. I hate having to work all the time. But.. But. I just got the best part-time job ever. I assist in restoring old paintings. I love being around the smell of mineral spirits, oil paint, and really old canvases all day. So, at least I'm PAINTING. Even if it isn't MY painting. I really hope my new boss doesn't realize how clumsy and absent-minded I am.
