Description
AcrylicThis one might be harder to explain. One manβs sadness isnβt felt by everyone else around him. Yet, his placement in the world might be a beautiful thing. A unrelated example is as follows : A famous painter such as Van Gogh might be unhappy with his life and paint out of desperation and sadness, but no one questions that he has brought great beauty and goodness to the world as a result of his unrest and frustrations.

This is great. Brillant use of colours and shapes, and it really brings across that kind of dark, almost oppressive emotion.

THanks! It is awesome that you say this is 'dark' and 'oppressive' .. I have the hardest time creating anything that isn't 'cheerful' and 'cute'.. Sucess! THanks!

Ahh, you want to know my secrets.
Well.. hope this makes sense, it is in Rachel Speak
1 - take out paints and lots of brushes, mainly size 1 sythetic brights in rough shape
2 - start painting
3 - get angry and obliterate
4 - dab furiously on large section, like texture of it and decide to keep it
5 - repeat until satified or run out of time
Yea vegetarianism! HeHe, I gotta show you my 'farm animals don't like farms' painting. [link]

Very beautiful, you've captured exactly the title of this piece - there's no other way to describe it! I love the texture you've given it through the paint application.

hehe let me help you with the critisism.
Rachel stop using tube colors, start mixing your own. Everyone here knows that is titanium white, prussian blue and sap green. Geesh.
hehe
