From the "Draw This Again" contest posting. Figured I'd give a full view version.*EDIT: Blitz now has a last name. ;n; Krieg. He's now called Blitz Krieg.

His name came about in a funny kind of way. I always thought of him as Blitz, and for some reason my brain always put Krieg at the end of his name. So, I made it cannon... Then remembered that kritz krieg has something to do with the Medic. After that, i found out blitzkrieg is actually a real word. O_O A synonym for battle or attack. XD

it's german for lightning attack, a tactic used by the third reich under which the targeted area would be bombed to hell by the luftwaffe, then imediately swept for survivers by panzer tanks and infantry.

O_O Well, you know what they say about German efficiency...Still, I rather like Germans. ^^ I'd love to actually go to Germany one day. German was going to be the American national language, too. One of the reasons we didn't want to get involved in WWI was because so many US citizens were also part or immigrant Germans.

I think you'd love the countryside very much. I'd recommend visiting as many places along the Rhine river as possible. It's simply amazing to see how they've managed to turn rolling hills into farmland.
and yes, english beat german by just one vote, but lately everyone's telling me that another is in progress to change it to spanish.

I want to learn German. It's such an awesome sounding language, even if you sound like you're yelling at someone when you're really saying something nice. XP

Ich kann sprechean sehr gut vonn duetch, aber fershtehan mir nicht so gut...
(I can speak german fairly well, but have trouble understanding it...)
I'm not fluent, you'd want to talk to mama for that, but if you'd like to learn, start with old english if you can't find one willing to teach you. Old english is half comprised of anglo and saxon language, which were both germanic tribes.

That's so cool! I actually understood what you wrote in German. O_O Well, some of it. Sprechean is used for comedy purposes a lot. XP And Duetch is German for German... I listened to the National Anthem once... Dunno why, I like music in different languages and I was curious. *shrug*
