Don't use your talent to undermine the talent of others. People who use bases aren't going to become better artists, so you shouldn't allow others to do this to themselves.

I made this just for fun. I even use bases some times just for fun. I think of it as a collab. And how I see it, some times bases can help with getting a grasp on things look and work. That's how it worked for me.

With a base, it's not so much a collab, but uh, taking other people's skill and pretending it's yours. Pretending that your good at something doesn't make you good at it.

They're not pretending it's their skill. They know it's not and gives credit. It's all in good fun. You can study how a base looks to study the anatomy. It's the person's choice to use the base or not. I'm not telling them to and since I gave permission, you can't tell them not to.

At least, some people give credit, and up to the fact that the art isn't theirs, but most people would much rather call it ALL theirs. And the only people who use bases are people who don't want to put effort into art pieces and still get attention. It's bad for them.

I some times used bases and when used them, I put in effort into them. You can't generalize people who use bases. I'm done with this conversation. This base was something I made for f u n and who ever can use it with permission. I as the artist am allowing this to be used and you can't drag me for it. And besides, literally no one is using this base so no use in telling me this.

I'm not generalizing. I mean I am, but not without doing my research. Also, you're a part of the minority in the effort department when it comes to base usage. The only way to properly use bases are as references.
