With the news about the Sparks of Hope DLC the main talking point in the fandom seems to be how Rayman is going to deal with meeting the Rabbids again after such a long time. While it’s been stated that the Rabbids in Kingdom Battle/Sparks of Hope are not directly related to the Rabbids of the original games that doesn’t mean that poor Rayman won’t have some residual anxiety after what he’s been through. It doesn’t help dealing with Rabbid Peach who seems to be actively hostile/dismissive towards the limbless wonder XD

But I also love the idea that Rayman might have a bond with Rabbid Mario, particularly over their shared passion for punching things. It might help take Rayman’s mind off his previous issues, and I just think their dynamic has echoes of Rayman’s friendship with Globox XD

So the two can skip happily off into the sunset to destroy all of The Phantom’s stuff. It’s therapy.
