Hehe, a tech center made out of calculators! That sounds like Gadget, all right! I haven't seen C+D:RR for what has to be ten years, this is a real blast from the past for me..

Gadget is, of course, the patron saint of recycled technology. Who better to get into the wiring of a bunch of calculators and gang them together than a mouse? B -)-

It looks great, Ray! I especially like the shading on Gadget and how things further away are in the shadows. The delay in my using it was because I had a problem getting the hit counter to float over it, but I finally figured that out and it is working great on our Disney Echo welcome page at DisneyEcho -dot- emuck -dot- com, here: [link]
Thanks again -- as well as allowing me to alter it for my website and substituting an iPhone in place of the calculator in front of Gadget. That ties in well with this part of our "You Make A Story" -- tinyurl.com/Gadget-iPhone [link] -- where Gadget uses an iPhone to replace faulty circuitry in an ancient mainframe computer at Epcot!

Ooh! Nice work on the shading and detail here. I'm not sure why, but I like the style you've used for Gadget. It's really cute.
Btw, you do realize that Gadget is a *mechanic/engineer* not a technologist, right? I'm not quite sure of the difference, but I'm sure there is one between the two titles.

Thanks! Yes, Gadget was primarily a mechanical engineer in the original series, but she did build some electronic contraptions as well. Given her intelligence, curiosity, and enthusiasm, it is quite impossible for me to believe that she would not, over the decade since the end of the series, have acquired a great deal of expertise in electronics, computers, and other technology as well. Yes, thanks - Gadget Hackwrench from Chip n Dale's Rescue Rangers. She is the technogeek of the group. Her specialty is making any equipment or vehicles they need from any sort of junk lying around. Hence the "computer center" made of old calculators ganged together.
