Though he was initially wary of Gunter and Reina, given the former’s rocky history with his father and the latter’s…eccentricities, Shigure soon warmed up to the grizzled pair. And, of course, they had stories, which is always a plus for the little prince. He also had a few to share, one of which got quite a laugh out of Reina, namely what happened when Laslow’s girlfriend met Inigo’s wife (details can be found here: www.deviantart.com/hazelgatoya… , archiveofourown.org/works/1634… ). Reina likely laughed her crazy head off at that one, and got a good kick out of Aether-Exclamation-Point-Morgan, Destroyer of Worlds’ penchant for the dramatic. As for Gunter, learning the story of the Shepherds did help to…explain a few oddities from way back when.
