The story of how the Chaotic Good (presumed) Mikoto met her future (second) husband, King Sumeragi, is forever veiled in rumor and mystery. Not the smallest reason for this being that Mikoto always told a different story whenever she was asked and never, EVER, told the same story twice. The one Reina heard involved Mikoto jumping on a wild kenshi, going flying, and then crashlanding in a (formerly) tranquil pond and soaking Sumeragi, rather thoroughly ruining a quiet day’s meditation for him. Is this the true story? And, if so, how DID Sumeragi ultimately decide to marry the quirky lunatic who got him drenched for no good reason? Alas, the world may never know.
