About to get a little wordy here: I was a huge TMNT fan as a kid; I wanted these guys to be cool soooo much. It bugged me that they were all the same design recolored, especially when Genghis and Napoleon had very different action figures! I redesigned them based on four different frog species, which gives them different abilities in battle.
NAPOLEON BONAFROG: Based on a red-eyed tree frog. Extremely fast and agile, can stick to walls in a Spidey-like fashion. I imagine his voice as a bad Al Pacino impression.
GENGHIS FROG: based on a horned frog, AKA "pac-man frogs" in the pet trade. They're strong, aggressive and have teeth (unlike other frog species) and this guy has a tough-guy attitude to match. I feel like his voice would be incongruously high-pitched, like Mike Tyson. Justin Roiland might work well.
RASPUTIN THE MAD FROG: Based on the famed poison dart frog. Skin secretes toxic mucus, which can also be flung at opponents. Uses a capoeira-like fighting style. For some reason, I keep thinking Alfonso Ribeira for his voice.
ATTILLA THE FROG: Based on a common toad (yes, toads are frogs. look it up.) Attilla may not be fast or strong, but he can take a ton of punishment and not get hurt. He also has a thunderous croak that can be used as a percussive weapon. Attilla is easy-going and not inclined to fight (which frustrates Shredder and his brothers to no end). Voiced by Wayne Knight.
