Nice, NO! EXCELENT!!! I rememmber it very well. I fact i have the Cairo folder with their previews, in my visual styles foder all those years.

The look is amazing. I use XP yet for harware reasons and i can't wait for a modern PC to taste all those beautiful themes. Couse i love darkish interfaces and as you surelly rememmber the XP, i can't enjoy couse XP limitations.

What i have to say you is that this theme looks stunningly amazing, BUT, i think, IMHO, that to feel more like CAIROSHELL looks, was the lovely contrast between the black and YELLOW colors. So, if i were you i will replace some small parts with a yellow tone. In example, the selected item in the context menu. But DON'T change one thing for another, You could make substyles; one like this and one with yellow, in the same theme.

Just a last thing. Talking about desings, a color doesn't feel in the same way if it paint a small area than a big area, or if it has o not text over it, and how much text. One thing that i have see it over and over again was the fact that build desings with a fully fully genuine black color. If i remember well, their has one thing in common, they haven't legibility. One thing is a atractive desing, and another thing is a legible desing. What i try to say is that doesn't the same paint the LIST VIEW (i.e.) with a RGB 0,0,0 color eigther a RGB 35,35,35 (i.e.). Both looks darkish, but the last one has more legibility and is more eye friendly. However... ...Keep it going on this amazing style.
