Your P.O.V
It was Christmas in the Fairy Tail Guild. This is my 4th Christmas with the guys. I am really happy that I found a guild that I can settle down in. I had put on my coat and got ready to head down to the guild. I didn't make anything. I'm sure that there will be food at the guild. I walked through the doors of the guild.
"MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!" I said happily
"Merry Christmas to you too, Y/N." said Lucy
Everyone was there. It's good to see everyone not fighting for once.
"Hey Y/N do you mind getting your best friend. He's been outside for the longest." said MiraJane
Gray was my best friend/crush. He was everything to me. We have been there for each other for the longest. I know that he likes Juvia though. He might not act like it, but I know when my best friend likes someone. I just wished that he liked me.
"You said he's outside?" I asked
"Yep. Some where by the lake."
I than went outside and saw Gray looking into the water. The moon light had hit the water just perfectly. It was so beautiful.
"Gray?" I asked
"Y/N. I didn't expect you to come now."
"So you were expecting me to come out here with you?"
"No not like that. I mean to the guild."
"What are you doing out here?"
"I'm just looking at the water."
"Does it reminds you about Juvia?" I teased
"That's the last person that I am thinking about."
"You don't have to lie to me Gray. I know you like Juvia."
"No I don't."
"Say what ever you want, but everyone wants you inside."
He said nothing. It was like he was trapped in his own little zone.
"Gray come on man it's cold out here. I know you trained in the snow in all that, but you will catch a cold."
I started to pull on his arm. He was not budging.
"Y/N."
"Yes?"
"I've been meaning to tell and ask you something. I might as well say it now."
"What is it?"
"I really like you. I mean it too. And if I had to spend my whole life with someone, I don't want Juvia or anyone else. I want you."
That really warmed my heart. I can't believe he likes me like that. So I can kinda guess what he is going to ask me.
"So are you asking me to be your girlfriend?" I asked
"No I want a little more than that. You can stop me right now if this seems obscure."
He than put his hands together ready to make something. When he was done, I saw a ring in his hand. I can't believe this.
"Gray?" I asked real low
"Y/N will you marry me?" he asked
My heart started to beat more than ever. He wants to be tied down with me. No one else. I can't believe what I am hearing. My eyes started to water like no other.
"Yes. Gray. I will."
I saw the biggest grin on his face. I held out my hand and he slid the ring on my finger. It was a little cold, but I love it. Gray than picked me up by my waist and started to spin me around. He soon put me down, and gave me a kiss.
"Hey what's going on out here?" asked Lucy approaching us
"We just got engaged." I said
"That's wonderful. I must tell the guild."
"Don't worry we are going to do that." said Gray
We soon told the whole guild about our engagement. I think Erza is the one who is the one most excited for us. Juvia on the other hand is the one least excited. I might get a lot of hate from her, but that doesn't matter.
