Description
This is my 'natural' style and Arthur Rackham-esque style side by side.I recommend this process to anyone who wants to flex their artistic muscles in a different way and maybe find new style inspirations!

I totally agree with you dude. Styles come naturally because no artist have the same technique, it's just the way you improve the style you have either put or add something popular with the times for example the inking style of Dustin or the coloring of Adam Hughes or the way Bruce Timm contructs anatomy. It really is just not being too stubborn and egotistic so what if your style reminds you of this artist and that well at least it can be compared to the mainstream ones and from there you move on.

This sounds like a cool exercise. I need to remember this. The difference between the two is really nice. Both are able to hold their own and feel weak in any places. The style you were trying didn't revert back to your own. Nice job!

Nice comparison. I love the closeup on the right one's face too. Very classical.
